WOW Momo, Lajpatnagar - Delhi

'★½' It's hard not to feel hungry when I look at Momos. It is one snack which can easily make some room in my tummy even after completing a 3-course meal & Lajpatnagar is always jam packed to have some delicious momos. After having 2 plates from the famous dolma aunty and rose fresh, I came to a halt at this outlet. It was a BIG NOO from my fellow foodies to try these momos but I really wanted to give it an attempt if it gets on my way. And what a luck !

'WOW momo, Lajpat nagar'

The name just allured me and I couldn't stop myself from ordering some momos. They have a variety of these little dumplings. You can have a look at their menu here https://goo.gl/6QLCUs. I simply ordered a fried chicken cheese momo. I was a bit exhausted so got seated downstairs. The place was mini but no objections.

It appeared promptly and was served with red chili and a green sauce. Fried properly and evenly. The bite was crunchy enough but it lacked in every possible flavors. I couldn't spot the cheese easily and I have to dig deeper to hunt it and finally I could notice few traces of cheese. The minced chicken was not juicy, tender or even fine.

The momo was packed with enough of that hard filling. Luckily, I also ordered a coke or else it would have stuck in my throat. They were so dry. I also bought a 10/- mayonnaise along with it which saved me from having those unseasoned pieces. They were definitely lacking some moisture.

Lastly: Now I figured out as to why warnings were given to me earlier. It was the first time I think that I left momos on the plate. The possibilities of finding an average momo place rather then this is staggering in lajpat nagar. I would rather use my 100 rupee note to again eat 2 plates of dolma momos.
